Compare stocks side by side
Compare companies by historical stock returns, worst drawdown, volatility, net and operating profit margins, cash conversion, assets to equity and debt to equity. Pick two companies to see the same nine measures side by side. Not sure where to start? Take one of the pairings below.
The four price measures are free to view. The five financial measures need an account and use report access for each company.
Pairings worth a look
Each of these puts a real question in front of you. Same trade, opposite strategies — or two businesses that have no business being alike.

Stronger is not the same as good
Every row marks two things: which of the two is stronger on that measure, and whether the figure is any good in absolute terms. Winning a row against a weak company does not make a number good, and a row where either side is missing the figure stays open rather than being handed to the other on half the evidence.
